Quick decision framework we use internally for build vs buy

We kept going back and forth on this so I made a simple decision tree our engineering leads now use:

→ Do you need custom tool integrations? If NO → buy (NemoClaw or managed)
→ Do you have 3+ dedicated engineers? If NO → buy
→ Is agent behavior a core competitive advantage? If NO → buy
→ Are you in a regulated industry needing full audit trails? If YES → build (raw OpenClaw)
→ Do you need to deploy in air-gapped environments? If YES → build

Everything else → buy.

Sounds obvious but having it written down stopped 90% of the debates in our planning meetings.
